After the church is caught up with the believers already dead to be with the Lord, why is it necessary for us to be reunited with our bodies already in the grave upon returning with the Lord to the earth?
With all the new electronic gadgets, is there any way someone could take the mark of the beast and not be away he is doing it (ie-computer chips on credit cards, etc.)? If you do this without knowing it, taking the mark of the beast, would it cost you your salvation?
When the rapture takes place and the church is removed from the earth, there will be cars, planes, trains, etc. crashing. This will be major chaos! Is there anything in the Bible that points to this chaos? Also, 2 Thessalonians says when Jesus comes back for the Church, He will bring the dead in Christ with Him. What is the point of the dead being raised from the grave? Will their earthly body be put back together and changed to a resurrected body? Many teach that the soul remains in a state of sleep until the resurrection. Can you shed some light on this?
Some Christians are keeping the Holy Days; Feast of Atonement, Unleavened Bread, Trumpets, Tabernacles, and are claiming real blessings from God as the result. (All these festivals depict God's plan of salvation & point to Jesus as the Messiah.)

I have a terrible fear of flying and want to get over it. I know God has said in His Word that it is not from Him. How then, do I get aboard that plane without the feeling of fear?
As a youth leader over 16 years olds and younger, I have to answer the question concerning ungodly behavior by their unsaved friends and whether they have a right to point it out since (these unsaved friends) are only acting like their unsaved nature says its okay to. How should teens respond to the behavior of unsaved friends?

As a “born again” Christian serving in Iraq, how can I reconcile New Testament teaching with my assignment? I have studied much in the Old Testament regarding war and warfare, and I know God used and blessed those who fought for God’s righteous cause at that time. However, the New Testament doesn’t seem to offer much support, direction, or encouragement for soldiers. Can you help me with this dilemma, and remove some of the confusion?
How does an American Christian reconcile biblical teachings about homosexuality, Islam, etc. as it relates to equal rights promised by the U.S. Constitution?

Do you take Corinthians literally for today, (about women being silent in the church), or am I justifying what Paul said about women not teaching men, by saying he was just talking about those times? I don’t understand how we can pick and choose what is for not or not.

Life and the Afterlife
Since God gave Jesus to the whole world, and Jesus died for the whole world, does this mean the whole world is righteous in Christ without knowing it?
My question is concerning the character of Methuselah, in the Old Testament. He was a great-grandfather of Noah, I’ve heard but I haven’t been able to confirm that not only was he the oldest living human being, he lived longer than anyone else, but that was a promise of God that He would not destroy the world with a flood until Methuselah died. Can you confirm this?
After Jesus’ resurrection, the 40 days He was on the earth, was he in a flesh and bone body?
Please let me know if the Bible says anything about life on other planets.
A preacher said people would be married in Heaven. Is this true? I read in the four Gospels that Jesus said there would be no marriages in Heaven. Am I misunderstanding the Bible?
Upon death, after the spirit goes to heaven, does it take on an earthly body such as the one before? Then what becomes of the spirit in heaven and the body in the grave upon the return of Christ? Does the spirit in heaven remember us on earth and know we love them?
I have listened to Pastor Bob’s teaching on Enoch having a dual vision and how he named his son Methuselah after this vision, which according to Pastor Bob, this name means “when he dies it shall fall.” After looking this name “Methuselah” up in Strong’s and other dictionaries, I have come up with the explanation “man of the dart.” Can you tell me which dictionary states that Methuselah means “when it dies it shall fall”? Of course, I am not asking because I doubt what Pastor Bob said, (I trust and respect Pastor Bob as a man of God) I am just asking to know for myself and use it in my Bible Study.
Hello. My name is Lance and I am a Senior Associate Pastor in Austin, Texas I recently listened to some material where the minister was discussing the Greek word for “apostle” and how it came from a Phoenician military term. I have done some research but can’t seem to come up with the same information. I am very interested to learn more about this subject. Thank you for taking the time to read this email and I would appreciate any help you could offer.
