The doorway into the nine fruit of the Spirit is the new birth, but the doorway into the nine gifts of the Spirit is the infilling of the Holy Spirit. We serve a God who speaks to us in our personal lives by the Holy Spirit but there are also times during a church service when God wants to speak through the gifts of the Spirit.
