The Book of Philippians

The apostle Paul had a vision in Troas of a man from Macedonia calling him to preach the gospel. this began Paul’s ministry in the Roman colony of Philippi. The themes of Philippians are joy and partnership as he expresses his thanks and appreciation to the people of Philippi who stood by him as partners with their prayers and financial support.

Dedicate a portion of your day to study, pray, and meditate on the word of God. Not only will you increase in joy and enthusiasm, as you study you will begin to hunger for more of God’s word.
